Many different birds visit our pond.  The fishing birds are the most interesting because they behave quite differently from one another.

The Kookaburras have the monopoly on the pond, visiting most days to catch fish and frogs.

Other fishing birds include  the sacred kingfisher, hawks and herons.

We get lots of birds at our home as we back onto a national park. 

 

 Here is a baby bush turkey in our front garden and below it the proud father.
